Kate Rebernak

With more than 25 years of experience as a strategic thinker, advisor, and communicator, Kate has been advising companies her entire professional life. Formerly a commercial-litigation attorney whose clients included federal financial institutions, banks, and insurance and other public companies, Kate brings together a variety of perspectives to inform her work with clients. In 2003 she founded Framework LLC. Kate directs the company’s research and leads the firm’s consulting work with clients on integrating consideration for ESG issues into corporate strategy and operations. Some of the organizations that she has advised for many years are The Coca-Cola Company, The Hershey Company, NVIDIA, Symantec, and the Global Compact Network USA.

Kate frequently speaks and writes on the value of ESG integration and the effective management of ESG issues. Her work has been published in Ethical Corporation, Green Biz, The Cornerstone Journal of Sustainable Finance and Banking, and Triple Pundit. In addition, Framework’s work culture and research have been mentioned in Harvard Business School publications, Forbes, and Bloomberg.

Kate serves on the board of directors of Cornerstone Capital Inc. and chairs the board’s nominating and governance committee. In addition, she serves on the Ethical Corporation editorial advisory board and has served as a guest lecturer at the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale (CBEY) Business and the Environment Consulting Clinic since 2009.

Kate holds a B.A. in English from the University of Missouri at Columbia, from which she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a lifetime member of Net Impact. She lives in Nyack, New York, with her husband and two children.
