Sun McElderry

Sun has twenty years of experience in media, content development, and corporate communications. Prior to joining Framework, Sun served as an account director in the New York and Seattle offices of Story Worldwide, a leading global custom media agency, where he helped Bank of America, UPS, and Holland America Lines, among other clients, develop award-winning publications, shareholder communications, and marketing programs.

Sun has also written, edited, and managed publishing projects for numerous magazine and book publishers, including Condé Nast and Grove/Atlantic, where he edited the 2003 New York Times nonfiction bestseller Triangle: The Fire That Changed America, which traces the roots of the modern corporate responsibility concept to the infamous Triangle Shirtwaist Factory tragedy. His involvement with social and environmental causes includes time spent as an AmeriCorps VISTA member, volunteer teacher and mentor to migrant workers and urban youth, and producer of benefit concerts. Born in South America and raised in the Caribbean, Sun is now based in Seattle.
